In the 'feet-first' category, Igor Kazic came in first. Harun Bajgoric was second, and Vanja Golos was third. Kazic achieved first place in this category for the 11th time. He completed the competition by receiving full marks from the jury.

Thousands of people watched the traditional jumping competitions.

460-Year-Old Tradition in Mostar

Mostar Bridge was built in 1566 by Architect Hayrettin, a student of Mimar Sinan. The competitions have been held since the bridge's construction. Athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and other countries participate.

The historic bridge, known as the 'soul' of the city of Mostar, was subjected to one of the brutal attacks of the war on May 9, 1993.

Mostar Bridge, a symbol of tolerance and cultural diversity, could not withstand the tank shelling of Croatian forces. On November 9, it plunged into the waters of the Neretva River. Despite the destruction and wartime conditions, the people of Mostar continued the traditional jumping festival from the bridge's remnants.

With initiatives from Turkey, Mostar Bridge was faithfully reconstructed in 2004. Evliya Çelebi had mentioned the jumping competitions in his work titled Seyahatname.
