Ukrainians held a demonstration in Berlin, the capital of Germany, on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.
On the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, Ukrainians gathered at Potsdamer Platz and then marched to Pariser Platz.
Demonstrators carried Ukrainian flags. They also displayed banners reading "Free Ukrainian prisoners of war", "Silence kills", "Our independence, our freedom, our struggle", "Defending Ukraine equals defending Europe", "Don't close your eyes to war", and "Today us, tomorrow you".
The demonstrators demanded support for Ukraine. Germany was also asked to provide long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine. Slogans against Russia were chanted.
Some Ukrainians participated in the demonstration wearing their country's traditional clothes.
