Binfikir Theater concluded its 2025-2026 theater season with the "Anti-Regime ONE MAN Show" staged by actor and director Mehmet Avcu. The season finale in Brussels was a scene of laughter-filled moments and a performance that received a long standing ovation.

On Friday evening, June 5th, art lovers who filled the theater hall at De Kriekelaar Cultural Center in Brussels experienced an unforgettable night with the one-man musical comedy show "Anti-Regime ONE MAN Show."
Mehmet Avcu, who both directed and starred in the play, had the audience in stitches with the different characters he portrayed on stage and his high-energy performance. The show, notable for its interactive nature, saw audience members become part of the play at times, joining in by singing songs and participating in humorous dialogues.

The show humorously addressed modern life's imposed body image perceptions, the obsession with weight loss, and the "healthy living" industry. The play, which brought current social issues to the stage with a witty narrative, was both thought-provoking and entertaining.

<Mehmet Avcu: "We Grew Together in One Year"
In an emotional thank-you speech on stage after the performance, Mehmet Avcu stated that his year in Brussels had been a significant turning point for him.
Thanking Binfikir Theater, Avcu emphasized that the team spirit forms the foundation of success and said:
"It's been a year since I came to Brussels. During this time, I had the opportunity to perform on stage again. The last time I performed was in Istanbul in 2024. I was alone on stage, but in reality, we were a huge team. We did a lot of great work with Binfikir Theater over the past year. We learned a lot from each other and grew together. I hope this journey continues. I thank everyone who supported us and my family."

Erdinç Utku: "There is no theater without an audience"
Erdinç Utku, the playwright and General Art Director of Binfikir Theater, reiterated his statement made at the end of every performance at the season finale:
"There is no theater without an audience."
Utku congratulated Mehmet Avcu for his successful performance and the entire Binfikir Theater team for their efforts throughout the season, and thanked the audience for their support.

A Strong Address for Turkish Theater in Belgium
Binfikir Theater, which has been carrying out Turkish theater activities in Belgium since 2008, continues to instill a love for theater in new generations with its adult theater group as well as Binfikir Children's Theater, composed of children aged 6-12.
