The tour operator FUN&SUN, operating in the Russian market, is expanding its cooperation with Turkish Airlines (THY) to meet the increasing demand for Turkey during the summer season. The company announced that it will significantly increase its capacity for the summer season by adding new flights to Antalya charter flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
With the new charter flights, FUN&SUN is also expanding its package tour options to Antalya, aiming to respond more quickly to the high demand from Russian tourists, especially during the peak season.
5 Additional Flights Weekly on the Moscow-Antalya Route
According to the company's statement, the first additional charter flight on the Moscow-Antalya route will take place on July 17. The flights will be operated five days a week – Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays – until the end of October.
St. Petersburg-Antalya Flights Begin on July 21
St. Petersburg-Antalya route's new charter operation will commence on July 21. Flights on this route will be operated until October 25 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
On both routes, Airbus A321 type aircraft with 163 economy and 16 business class seats will be in service.
Antalya Package Tour Options Expanded
With the new flight schedule, FUN&SUN has also increased its package tour sales to Antalya, reporting that package prices per person range from approximately 100,000 rubles to 181,000 rubles.
The company stated that package tour prices vary depending on the chosen hotel category, duration of stay, travel dates, and services offered.
The Russian market continues to be one of the most important source markets for Turkish tourism, and the increased charter capacity during the summer season is expected to make a significant contribution to tourism activity in Antalya.
