T.C. Consul General in Munich Süalp Erdoğan hosted the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bayerisch-Türkisches Forum e.V. Prof. Dr. Kemal Orak and board members Klaus Kaiser, Thomas Hofstätter, Dr. Temel Nal, and Nergiz Karaca at the Consulate General's office.
During the meeting, held as part of a courtesy visit, joint steps that can be taken to strengthen the friendship and cooperation relations between Turkey and Bavaria were comprehensively evaluated. The parties emphasized the importance of sustainable cooperation in economic, cultural, and social fields.
Turkey-Bavaria relations discussed
The main agenda of the meeting consisted of projects that will contribute to the further development of existing relations between Turkey and Bavaria. During the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on the expectations, needs, and current issues of the Turkish community living in Southern Bavaria.
Cultural and academic projects evaluated
Joint initiatives that can be carried out in cultural, academic, and social fields were also put on the table during the visit. The parties reached a consensus on increasing projects that will strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries and implementing new cooperation opportunities.
Strengthening institutional communication is aimed for
During the meeting, it was emphasized that institutional communication between the T.C. Consulate General in Munich and Bayerisch-Türkisches Forum e.V. needs to be further strengthened. The importance of conducting joint work with regular communication and coordination was highlighted.
