A 16-year-old driving school student who had an accident during motorcycle driving training in Germany died after being run over by a truck.

A 16-year-old driving school student died in an accident that occurred during a motorcycle driving training session held on the A24 highway in Germany's Brandenburg state.

According to the police's initial statement, the young trainee lost control of the driving school's motorcycle she was riding on the road, which had become slippery due to rain, and fell. The 16-year-old girl, thrown onto the road, was then run over by a truck traveling in the same direction. The severely injured young person died at the scene.

Authorities reported that another female trainee was also present with the driving instructor, who was traveling in a car behind the motorcycle. Following the accident, the driving instructor, the other trainee, and the truck driver were taken to the hospital suffering from shock.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
