Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt reiterated their determination to deport asylum seekers and foreigners who commit crimes in Germany.

 As reactions intensified to an Afghan asylum seeker stabbing a German student to death in Trier, Germany, Minister Dobrindt announced that those who commit crimes would be sent back to their countries of origin.

 While some circles and organizations reacted to the deportation of those who commit crimes in Germany to countries like Afghanistan and Syria, CSU member Alexander Dobrindt emphasized their view that they would continue to deport asylum seekers and foreigners who commit crimes, stating, “We do not have to harbor all psychopaths in our country.”

 It was stated that over 140 Afghans who committed crimes in Germany have been sent back to Afghanistan since August 2021, when the Taliban came to power, and it was also announced that deportations would continue with special flights.
