Turkey concluded the European Junior and U23 Flatwater Canoe Sprint Championship, held in Hungary, with 4 medals.

According to a statement from the Turkish Canoe Federation, 759 athletes from 38 countries competed in the event held in the city of Szeged.

National athlete Resul Aydın won a silver medal in the C1 U23 men's 500-meter final.

With this result, Resul Aydın became the first athlete in Turkish canoe history to win a silver medal in this category at European championships.

Rahmi Kaan Karahan, on the other hand, secured 3 bronze medals at the championship. Rahmi Kaan finished third in the K1 junior men's 1000, 500, and 200-meter categories.
