The Women's National Volleyball Team, who became champions by defeating Brazil 3-1 in the 2026 FIVB Nations League (VNL) final, received its trophy.
An award ceremony was held after the final match at the event organized at the East Asian Games Dome in China's Macau Special Administrative Region.
At the award ceremony, medals were presented to the players and technical staff of the champion Women's National Volleyball Team and runner-up Brazil.
Polish volleyball player Michal Kubiak presented the gold medals to the national team players, who achieved the championship for the second time at the event and had the Turkish National Anthem played for the audience in China.
After Chinese former national player Hui Ruoqi presented the trophy to captain Gizem Örge, the national team players and technical staff experienced great enthusiasm on the podium.
National volleyball player Melissa Vargas, who completed the Brazil match with 33 points, was selected as the "most valuable player" for her performance in the finals.
