Turkish Muaythai Federation President Hasan Yıldız said they aim to introduce more children and young people to muaythai.

In a statement he made in Hatay, where he watched the Spor Toto Muaythai Super League 2nd Leg Competitions, Yıldız noted that they are working to bring children and young people together with sports in all provinces.

Stating that they aim to protect children and young people from addiction and obesity, Yıldız said, "Nowadays, social media, phones, and digital games seriously make children lazy, leading to an obese generation. Our aim is to invite more young people and children to this sport. To get children engaged in this sport, we are organizing not only sports activities but also social activities."

Stating that Turkey ranks among the top in the world in muaythai, Yıldız said, "In the last 4-5 years, we have consistently been on the podium in international platforms, always in the top 3, never dropping below. We are a successful federation and we are running a successful branch. We are expanding very significantly. In our federation, which we started with 10-15 thousand athletes, there are approximately 250 thousand passive athletes and 40 thousand actively licensed athletes whose licenses are renewed."
