Following an incident that occurred during the CSD (Christopher Street Day) Pride Parade held in Berlin, the capital of Germany, and is being investigated as an attack, Berlin State Senator for Labor, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity, and Anti-Discrimination Cansel Kiziltepe made a written statement.

Kiziltepe stated that she was deeply saddened by the incident, expressing that the news of the attack deeply shook her, and said that her thoughts are with those who lost their lives and were injured, their families, and everyone who witnessed the event.

"I am deeply saddened and shocked"

In her statement, Senator Cansel Kiziltepe stated that the tragedy deeply affected her, using the following words:

"The news of this terrible incident deeply shook me. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone who had to witness what happened. I am in great shock and deep sorrow."

"Violence and hatred have no place in our society"

Kiziltepe emphasized that the attack at the CSD event, which symbolizes diversity, respect, and peaceful coexistence, has extremely severe consequences for society.

In her statement, Kiziltepe expressed that violence and hatred are unacceptable in any way, noting the following:
