According to the German News Agency (DPA), Pistorius spoke at the online meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.

Pistorius stated that Russia's intimidation attempts and hybrid attacks would not work in Ukraine, Germany, or other partner countries, adding, "On the contrary, Russia's irresponsible attitude further strengthens our determination to defend peace and freedom in Europe."

Pistorius announced that a decision had been made to supply PAC-2 missiles, which Ukraine urgently needs, from German army stocks. He also stated that Ukraine would order thousands of IRIS-T guided missiles from Germany, to be financed under the European Union (EU) - Ukraine defense credit.

In addition, Pistorius stated that Germany would cover the costs of tens of thousands of long-range artillery ammunition, noting that this ammunition would be procured in cooperation with the UK and delivered to Ukraine.
