10-Year Sentence for Defendant in Çalar Case
The perpetrator of the attack that led to the death of Turkish conductor Serkan Çalar in Germany was sentenced to 10 years in prison for "intentional bodily harm resulting in death." The court rejected requests for a murder conviction or life imprisonment.
