Elif Zilan Söylemez, the driver of the car that fell into the Munzur River last night in Tunceli, lost her life at Elazığ Fethi Sekin City Hospital, where she was being treated.

In the accident that occurred on Barge Road in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood, the car with license plate 62 AL 020, driven by Elif Zilan Söylemez, went out of control, rolled down an approximately 200-meter cliff, and fell into the Munzur River. Söylemez, who was taken to Tunceli State Hospital as injured after the accident, was transferred to Elazığ Fethi Sekin City Hospital when her condition worsened.

Hakan Özkan, who was injured in the same accident, continues to receive treatment at Tunceli State Hospital.

Meanwhile, the vehicle found in the Munzur River was removed from the water with the help of heavy equipment.
