The vocational development and employment-focused Export Talent Training Program, launched for the first time this year by Akbank Youth Academy, has graduated its first cohort.

According to the statement made by the bank, the training programs implemented by Akbank in line with its youth vision continue to grow and diversify with new areas.

In this regard, Akbank Youth Academy, which aims to invest in the future of young people and connects with them through its programs covering numerous different topics and scopes, from artificial intelligence to entrepreneurship, brings qualified workforce in the field of export to the working world with Export Talent.

The hybrid program, designed for university students aged 18-25, lasted 8 weeks and provided comprehensive training to young people throughout the program in areas such as foreign trade law, payment and letter of credit processes, e-export, digital marketing, customs clearance, target market analysis, logistics, and global brand management.

In the program held for the first time in Sakarya, in addition to theoretical instruction, technical field trips were also organized to ICS Karasu Port, Karasu Customs Directorate, Sakarya Customs Directorate, and Ecoplas facilities. After the training, students presented their projects and received their certificates of participation at the graduation ceremony held at Sabancı Center.

At the ceremony, students received their certificates of participation from Akgün Altuğ, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO), Şevket Altuğ, SATSO Secretary General, Bülent Oğuz, Akbank Human and Culture Assistant General Manager, and Selda Özçalık, Akbank Experience and Department Head.

The program also serves as a bridge within the Transformation Academy for commercial enterprises to acquire the necessary workforce they need. In this context, participants who successfully complete the program can gain access to employment opportunities in businesses within the Akbank Transformation Academy network.

Bülent Oğuz, Akbank Human and Culture Assistant General Manager, whose views were included in the statement, stated that they continue to invest in young people who shape the future today and support their multifaceted development.

Oğuz noted that smart logistics routes, big data analytics, and AI-based market research are prominent in international trade, and they aim to focus on the development of talent in the foreign trade sector.

Emphasizing their belief that the sector will advance further with new generation talents in light of these innovations, Oğuz added the following:
