One of Germany's most established open-air music festivals, Bardentreffen, opens its doors for the 50th time this year. Within the scope of the festival, which will be held between July 30 and August 2, 2026, Nuremberg will host artists from all over the world and hundreds of thousands of music lovers for four days. Historic squares, streets, and open-air stages will transform into a giant concert venue with melodies from different cultures.

50th-anniversary celebration to be dedicated to Hans Sachs

First held in 1976 in memory of the German poet, singer, and songwriter Hans Sachs, Bardentreffen celebrates its half-century history this year. The festival's 50th anniversary will also be dedicated to Hans Sachs's 450th commemoration year, giving special meaning to cultural heritage.
