The rainfall that affected Kastamonu's Doğanyurt district caused flooding and overflows in many areas.

In the region for which the General Directorate of Meteorology issued a warning, the flow rate of Meset Stream, which flows from the district center into the Black Sea, increased after the heavy rainfall.

According to information received from Meteorology, over 150 kilograms of rainfall per square meter fell in the district. This situation led to flooding and overflows in many areas.

An agricultural vehicle known as a "Patpat" was stranded in the floodwaters that reached the mosque garden in the district center.

AFAD and Doğanyurt Municipality teams, assigned to the region as a precautionary measure, started evacuation efforts in the areas experiencing flooding.
