According to a statement from the green-and-white club, the 26-year-old footballer, who played for Iğdır FK, previously played for Amasyaspor, Akhisarspor, MKE Ankaragücü, Samsunspor, and Iğdır FK.

Muğlaspor wished success to its new transfer Ali Kaan Güneren with the words, "We wish you great success under our green-and-white jersey, and we say 'welcome' to our Muğlaspor family."

It was stated that Güneren joined the team's Bolu camp and had his first training session.
