Fatih Tekke: Trabzonspor Community Is Massive, Our Fans Are Everywhere

Trabzonspor has arrived in Austria for their overseas training camp before the new season.

The plane carrying the claret-blue delegation, which departed from Trabzon Airport in the morning, landed at Salzburg Airport after an approximately 3-hour journey.

Claret-blue fans gave flowers to head coach Fatih Tekke and took photos with the players during the delegation's exit from the airport.

After leaving the airport, the Trabzonspor delegation departed by bus for the town of Schladming, where they will hold their camp.

The claret-blues, who started their new season preparations by gathering at their own facilities on July 6, will hold an 11-day camp in Schladming.

Trabzonspor will hold their first training session at the camp this evening behind closed doors.

Head Coach Fatih Tekke made statements to the press at the airport. Tekke said, "Thank God, we have fans everywhere. The Trabzonspor community is very big. They already show us their interest. This year, we are in Austria and Salzburg. After this, we have a journey of a few hours. After that, God willing, we have 3 friendly matches without any mishaps. May the new season be auspicious and blessed for all of us, God willing."

Batista Mendy, Lundstram, Cihan Çanak, and Göktan Gürpüz were not included in Trabzonspor's training camp squad.

It was reported by the club that these players were given permission to hold transfer talks with other clubs, and therefore were not in the training camp squad.

The Black Sea team's training camp squad included Andre Onana, Ahmet Doğan Yıldırım, Onuralp Çevikkan, Erol Can Çolak, Mustafa Eskihellaç, Sidny Lopes Cabral, Wagner Pina, Mustafa Kuzey Akçay, Samet Akaydin, Ali Şahin Yılmaz, Ahmet Berat Tekke, Chibuike Nwaiwu, Stefan Savic, Cenk Özkacar, Arseniy Batagov, Salih Malkoçoğlu, Ozan Tufan, Okay Yokuşlu, Benjamin Bouchouari, Tim Jabol-Folcarelli, Melih Kabasakal, Ernest Muçi, Ruslan Malinovskyi, Oğuzhan Ertem, Yiğithan Çubukçu, Thierry Karadeniz, Metehan Mimaroğlu, Noah Saviolo, Doğuhan Aral Şimşir, Umut Nayir, Paul Onuachu and Denis Draguş.

As part of their Austria camp, Trabzonspor will face Eintracht Frankfurt on July 26, Al-Sadd on July 30, and Udinese on August 2 in friendly matches.
