Corendon Airlines has reorganized its operational and strategic management responsibilities. Atılay Batu, who served as the company's Chief Operating Officer (COO), has been appointed as Corendon Airlines' Accountable Manager.

With this restructuring, daily operations and long-term strategic management have been separated. Yıldıray Karaer will continue his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Corendon Airlines Group Companies.

Operational responsibility with Atılay Batu

In his new role, Atılay Batu will be responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient execution of Corendon Airlines' operational activities. He will also ensure the company's compliance with relevant regulations and operational requirements.

In the new organizational structure, the Training, Ground Operations, Flight Operations, and Technical departments will report directly to Batu.

The Safety Management System, Aviation Security, Quality, and SOME departments will continue their independent monitoring, auditing, and oversight functions.

Yıldıray Karaer to focus on strategic management

Yıldıray Karaer, who handed over the Accountable Manager role to Atılay Batu, will continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Corendon Airlines Group Companies.

In the new period, Karaer will focus more on the strategic management of the airlines within the group, strengthening coordination between companies, and the sustainable development of the group.

Operations and group management more distinctly separated

With this change in roles, Corendon Airlines aims to conduct operational management and strategic decision-making processes at the group level within a more effective organizational structure.

The new structure consolidates responsibility for airline operations under Atılay Batu's management, while allowing Yıldıray Karaer to concentrate on the overall strategy of the group companies and coordination among the airlines.
