An unexploded aerial bomb from World War II was found in Berlin's Neukölln district, the capital of Germany. Following this discovery, a large-scale evacuation covering approximately 5,600 households was initiated.

Berlin police took extensive security measures in the area to safely defuse the bomb. Residents within the security cordon were asked to leave their homes. The defusing operation is expected to continue until late at night.

The evacuation zone also includes a nursing home, a shelter for the homeless, and a daycare center. Therefore, it was noted that the evacuation operation was carried out in a coordinated and careful manner.

Police officials stated that the exact time the bomb would be defused would become clear after the evacuation procedures were completed. While it was stated that the operation could continue until late at night, citizens were asked to comply with the instructions of the security forces.
