The Turkish Consulate General in Berlin called on Turks in Berlin to support our women's basketball players.

The Turkish Consulate General in Berlin issued a call for support for our Women's National Basketball Team, which will participate in the FIBA Women's World Cup to be held in Berlin, the capital of Germany, from September 4-13. The statement, which also pointed out that discounted tickets are offered to Turkish citizens for the National Team's matches, said the following:

“Dear members of the Turkish community, Our Women's National Basketball Team will represent our country in the FIBA 2026 Women's World Cup, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, between September 4-13, 2026. Our National Team, which will compete in Group C, will play its group stage matches on the following dates:

September 4, 2026, 17:30 – Belgium - TURKEY 

September 6, 2026, 11:30 – TURKEY - Australia

September 7, 2026, 11:30 – Puerto Rico - TURKEY

Details of our National Team's matches between September 9-13, 2026, will be finalized after the group stage.

Discounted tickets are offered to Turkish citizens for our National Team's matches.
