Veterinarian Tetik: Cat Pamuk's Breast Tumor Removed

A cat diagnosed with a breast tumor in Bilecik's Osmaneli district regained its health after a successful operation.

During the examination of the cat, which was brought to the Osmaneli Municipality Stray Animal Rehabilitation and Treatment Center by an animal lover in Merkez Camikebir Neighborhood, a breast tumor was identified.

Veterinarian Abdullah Tetik and his team performed an operation to prevent the tumor from spreading.

Abdullah Tetik, who is also the Director of Veterinary Affairs for Osmaneli Municipality, stated that the cat, which they named "Pamuk," is 6-7 years old.

Tetik, explaining that the cat was brought to the center by a benevolent citizen, noted the following:

"As a result of ultrasound examinations, we determined that our cat, brought by our benevolent citizen, had a benign breast tumor. We quickly completed the tumor operation. Hopefully, our cat, whom we named 'Pamuk,' will be returned to the benevolent citizen who sought help for her, and will continue her life there in a more comfortable and healthy way. We wish for people in our region or district to bring us animals in need of treatment when they encounter them."
