At Kayseri Anatolian Wonderland Zoo, special iced fruit cocktails are being prepared to cool animals during hot weather.

According to a statement from Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, special practices have been implemented for the comfort and health of the animals with the increase in summer temperatures.

1600 animals from 134 different species at the zoo are being protected against the heat under the supervision of veterinarians and expert caregivers.

In the animals' habitats, there are also pools and fountains. Additionally, they are refreshed with iced food.

Iced cocktails prepared from seasonal fruits such as watermelon, pear, and strawberry are eagerly consumed by the animals.

Anatolian Wonderland Zoo welcomes its visitors between 10:00 and 18:00.
