8 people were injured as a result of two cars colliding at the Gevaş-Gürpınar road junction in Van. The car with license plate 59 DM 489, driven by Murat Aslan, and the car with license plate 46 D 8523, driven by Bekir Abacı, collided at the junction.

Upon notification, health, AFAD, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams, after lengthy efforts, extracted a woman trapped in one of the vehicles and handed her over to medical personnel.

The 8 people injured in the accident were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance. The road, which was closed to traffic for a while due to the accident, was reopened after the vehicles were removed.
