Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ met with the players and technical staff of the Men's National Volleyball Team at a morale dinner. This meeting took place before the 2026 FIVB Nations League (VNL) Finals.

According to a statement from the TVF, Üstündağ congratulated the national team, which qualified for the finals for the first time in the organization's history.

Üstündağ wished success to the national team before the quarter-final match. He stated that he believes the Men's National Volleyball Team will continue its success story in the finals.

Üstündağ noted that he wholeheartedly believes the national team will represent Turkey in the best possible way. He wished success to the athletes and technical staff.

TVF Vice President for National Teams Semih Oktay, Board Members Altuğ Erim and Abdurrahim Yıldız attended the morale dinner. Audit Board Member Umut Bağlı and TVF Marketing and Organization Board Member Tayfun Özeren also took part in the dinner.

The Men's National Volleyball Team will face Slovenia in the quarter-finals of the Nations League final stage. The match will be played on Wednesday, July 29, at 10:00 AM TSİ in Ningbo, China.
