Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport broke its daily passenger and flight record on July 19. The airport served 171,460 passengers and handled a total of 915 flights. These figures marked the highest daily traffic in the airport's history, driven by strong demand during the summer season.

According to data from Airport Field Authority HEAŞ, these figures represent Sabiha Gökçen's highest daily passenger and flight numbers ever recorded.

The activity on this date, one of the busiest days of the summer season, was managed in coordination with HEAŞ and terminal operator İSG.

Thanks to comprehensive on-site planning and the coordinated efforts of all institutions at the airport, the high traffic was successfully managed without any disruptions.

This increase in passenger numbers demonstrated that Sabiha Gökçen Airport is meeting the growing demand in both domestic and international lines. The airport continues to be one of Turkey's busiest air transportation hubs during the summer period.
