Korea will host two significant events in Frankfurt, Germany, in September 2026. The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) will organize a two-day public festival in the city center. Following this festival, tourism industry and media representatives will gather for a special evening event.
The K-Culture & Travel Festival 2026 will take place on September 4-5 at Galeria Frankfurt Hauptwache. At the festival, 28 participants will showcase Korea's destinations, culture, beauty products, music, and various other products. Korea Tourism Night will be held on September 21.
K-Culture & Travel Festival to be Open to Everyone
Galeria Hauptwache, located on Frankfurt's central shopping street Zeil, will transform into a "K-Playground" for two days. The festival can be visited free of charge between 10:00 and 20:00.
Participants will be featured in five thematic areas: K-Travel, K-Culture, K-Beauty, K-Pop, and K-Products. In the K-Travel section, Korea's regional tourism organizations will promote their destinations.
The stage program will feature a live performance by K-Pop artist Kisu Choi. Additionally, the non-verbal stage show "Painters Hero," cultural performances, and K-Pop cover dances will be presented. On Saturday, the "Wir reden die Welt" podcast will be broadcast live.
Tourism Sector to Meet on September 21
KTO will organize the "Discover Korea's Hidden Charm"-themed Korea Tourism Night event on September 21 at Logenhaus zur Einigkeit in Frankfurt. This gathering will be for journalists and tourism industry representatives between 18:00 and 21:00.
The program includes presentations, a cultural show, and an influencer talk. The event will continue with dinner and networking. Participation is free, but capacity is limited, and prior registration is required. Applications will be subject to KTO's approval.
Korean Culture Becomes the Gateway to Tourism
KTO aims to reach different audiences with these two events. The festival at Hauptwache will introduce Korean culture and travel experiences to a wide range of visitors. Korea Tourism Night, on the other hand, will focus on industry professionals and media representatives.
The interest in K-Pop, K-Beauty, and Korean popular culture will be utilized to promote the country's tourist appeal. In September, Frankfurt will become one of the key meeting points for Korean culture and tourism in Germany.
