The Global Journalists Council (KGK), which has representatives in 88 countries and 81 provinces, will host various meetings, workshops, exhibitions, and award ceremonies both domestically and abroad in September, October, and November.

The KGK Board of Directors will first hold its regular meeting in Sakarya from September 11-13. Following Sakarya, the event calendar for 2026 will be completed with meetings to be held successively in Kırşehir, Afyonkarahisar, London, and Alanya.

Board members, who will gather in Sakarya hosted by Güven Hasbaş, KGK Sakarya Provincial Representative and Head of the KGK Digital Media Council, will discuss the council's activities and projects it is a stakeholder in, as well as current issues on the sector's agenda. Additionally, meetings will be held with Sakarya's senior executives and journalists.

The council's next stop after Sakarya will be Kırşehir. Within the scope of the event to be held from September 14-17, hosted by Murat Sürmeli, KGK Kırşehir Provincial Representative, KGK members will participate in the Kırşehir Governorship's Ahilik Week celebrations. Members, who will get to know Kırşehir's history and culture, will also visit the Kaman district.

The KGK Local Media Council will hold a consultative meeting in Afyonkarahisar from September 19-21, with the participation of provincial representatives. At the meeting hosted by Mehmet Emin Güzbey, KGK Afyonkarahisar Provincial Representative, historical, touristic, gastronomic, and cultural tours will be organized in the city, and senior executives will be visited. Local media representatives will come together for a comprehensive meeting on the sector's problems and solutions. The decisions and recommendations made will be announced to the public with a joint statement.

The Global Journalists Council, which held its 1st International Media Friendship Awards ceremony and exhibition last year in New York City, USA, will organize the second one this year in London, the capital of England, between September 29 and October 2. Within the framework of the event, which will be held under the patronage of the Turkish Embassy in London and hosted by Vatan Öz, KGK Representative for the United Kingdom, a ceremony will be held at the famous Arrundel House, where Turkish and British journalists will be honored. Additionally, a documentary exhibition titled "UK Headlines in the Turkish Press and Historical Diplomatic Documents" will be opened. The KGK delegation will hold important meetings in London; they will meet with Turkish NGOs operating in London and visit parliamentarians of Turkish and Muslim origin, as well as barons and baronesses, at the British Parliament building.

The 6th Global Media Meeting, to be held this year in Alanya, will be the final event of the year. Within the scope of the meeting, which will take place in Alanya from November 6-10 with the participation of KGK provincial and country representatives and elected council members, various panels and workshops on media topics will be held, as well as a workshop on the social mediation project in combating social violence, in which the council is a stakeholder. The meeting, expected to be attended by journalists and statesmen from approximately 30 countries in addition to Turkey, will conclude with the 6th Global Achievement Awards and İsmail Gaspıralı Awards ceremony.
