Many Arrests at Rheinmetall Protest in Berlin

Police detained numerous individuals during a protest held in Germany's capital, Berlin, against Rheinmetall, a company producing ammunition for Israel.

Thousands of people gathered at Gesundbrunnen metro station to protest Rheinmetall, which has a factory in the Wedding district, and Germany's supply of weapons to Israel, under the slogan 'Weapon-free Wedding. Together against war.'

Before the demonstration, a minute of silence was observed to commemorate those killed on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the genocide committed by Serbs in Srebrenica, eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, where 8,372 Bosnian civilians were brutally massacred.

During the action, slogans were chanted, including: “Freedom for Palestine”, “Freedom for Palestine until Palestine is free”, “Germany supplies weapons, Israel kills” and "The only solution is resistance, intifada resistance".

At the demonstration, where extensive security measures were taken, police intervened harshly and detained numerous individuals.
