Federal Minister of Interior Alexander Dobrindt reiterated that they are determined to deport asylum seekers and foreigners who commit crimes in Germany.

 As reactions intensified to an Afghan asylum seeker stabbing a German student to death in Trier, Germany, Minister Dobrindt announced that those who commit crimes will be sent back to their countries of origin.

 While some circles and organizations reacted to the repatriation of those who commit crimes in Germany to countries like Afghanistan and Syria, Alexander Dobrindt of the CSU, stating, “We do not have to harbor all psychopaths in our country,” emphasized his view that they will continue the deportation of asylum seekers and foreigners who commit crimes.

 Since August 2021, when the Taliban came to power, it was stated that over 140 Afghans who committed crimes in Germany have been sent back to Afghanistan, and it was also announced that deportation flights would continue with special planes.
