The suspect, identified by a camera trap cultivating drugs in a forested area in İzmir's Ödemiş district, has been arrested.

District Gendarmerie Command teams determined, using camera trap footage, that S.D. was planting cannabis plants in the forested area of Bozdağ Neighborhood.

During searches conducted in the field, 175 cannabis plants were seized.

In a search conducted at the suspect's home, 2 unlicensed hunting rifles, an unlicensed pistol, 3 magazines, 36 cartridges, 20 grams of skunk cannabis, a quantity of cannabis seeds, and a precision scale were found.

S.D., who was taken into custody, was arrested by the court after procedures at the gendarmerie and being referred to the courthouse.
