A forest fire broke out in the Çerkes Hill area of Çamlıca Neighborhood, Ödemiş district, İzmir.

İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry and fire brigades were dispatched to the fire, which started for an as-yet-undetermined reason.

The teams' efforts to bring the fire under control are continuing.

Ödemiş District Governor Hakan Yavuz Erdoğan and Ödemiş Mayor Mustafa Turan also came to the region and monitored the intervention on site.
