In a traffic accident that occurred in Aksaray, 2 people were seriously injured as a result of a pickup truck colliding with an excavation truck.

The accident occurred at the Ekecik Boulevard Provincial Special Administration road intersection. The pickup truck with license plate 68 DP 064, driven by Mehmet Ö. (39), rear-ended the excavation truck with license plate 68 AFP 494, driven by Nisa Ali T.

Upon notification, UMKE, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

Health teams rescued the trapped injured individuals from their location after a long effort.

In the accident, the pickup truck driver Mehmet Ö. and Menla M. (49), who was in the vehicle, sustained serious injuries.

After initial intervention at the scene, the injured were transferred by ambulance to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital.
