Antalya Beaches Packed as Temperatures Hit 38°C, Tourists Flock

The hot weather and high humidity continuing to affect Antalya drew local and foreign tourists, as well as city residents, to the beaches.

In the city, the air temperature was measured at 38 degrees, the sea water temperature at 32 degrees, and the humidity level at 63 percent.

Those overwhelmed by the heat chose to cool off by swimming in the sea at Konyaaltı and Lara beaches.

While some holidaymakers engaged in various water sports, others sunbathed on sun loungers and on the sand. There were also those who jumped into the sea from the rocks on the beach.

Those who came to the Varyant viewing point watched the Mediterranean view and the activity on the beach.

Those who spent time in their camping chairs set up by the sea and those who sought refuge in the shade of palm trees in the parks along the coastline also tried to protect themselves from the oppressive heat.
