Tour operator FUN&SUN, operating in the Russian market, is expanding its cooperation with Turkish Airlines (THY) to meet the increasing demand for Turkey during the summer season. The company announced that it will significantly increase its capacity for the summer season by adding new flights to its Antalya charter operations departing from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

FUN&SUN, which has also expanded its package tour options for Antalya with the new charter flights, aims to respond more quickly to the high demand from Russian tourists, especially during peak season.

5 Additional Flights Per Week on Moscow-Antalya Route

According to the company's statement, the first additional charter flight on the Moscow-Antalya route will take place on July 17. Flights will be operated five days a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – until the end of October.

St. Petersburg-Antalya Flights Begin July 21

The new charter operation on the St. Petersburg-Antalya route will commence on July 21. Flights on this route will be operated on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays until October 25.

Airbus A321 aircraft, with 163 economy and 16 business class seats, will serve both routes.

Antalya Package Tour Options Expanded

FUN&SUN, which has also increased its package tour sales to Antalya with the new flight schedule, reported that per-person package prices start from approximately 100,000 rubles and go up to 181,000 rubles.

The company stated that package tour prices vary according to the preferred hotel category, length of stay, travel date, and services offered.

While the Russian market continues to be one of the most important source markets for Turkish tourism, the increased charter capacity during the summer season is expected to make a significant contribution to tourism activity in Antalya.
