Bülent Bölükbaşı: Sarıyer Targets Top Ranks Next Season

Bülent Bölükbaşı, head coach of SMS Grup Sarıyer, one of the Trendyol 1. Lig teams, stated that they aim to be an ambitious team fighting for the top ranks, far from the relegation zone, in the new season.

The Istanbul representative continues its preparations in Bolu. The team, under the management of head coach Bülent Bölükbaşı, is preparing for the new season with double training sessions daily.

Bölükbaşı made a statement to the press before training. Stating that the camp period has been intense, Bölükbaşı said, "The first stage is always tiring. After this, the number of our friendly matches will increase. This process is very important to prepare for the league in the best possible way. Our players' willingness and desire to work make us happy. Hopefully, we will complete our deficiencies before the league starts and begin the season ready."

Head coach Bölükbaşı stated that they will play 3 more friendly matches until the league starts. Noting that transfer efforts are ongoing, Bölükbaşı said, "Our transfer efforts are continuing. The players we want are gradually joining our squad. Our management is also continuing its work on this matter. However, economic conditions restrict clubs' room for maneuver. We have deficiencies in more than one area. Hopefully, we can complete these deficiencies before the league begins."

Bölükbaşı emphasized the need for a broad and quality squad for a successful team. He said, "We have a squad, but teams are only as strong as their substitute players. We also have deficiencies in this regard. When we complete them, we will try to create a team that fights well, is dynamic, offers high viewing pleasure, and that the players also enjoy."

Stating that it is too early to set targets because the league has not started, Bölükbaşı concluded his remarks by saying, "The situations and budgets of the teams in the league are clear. From the outside, it might seem like we are making many transfers and big expenditures, but that is not the case. Within our means, we aim to stay in the league, fight for the top ranks, and be an ambitious team in our current position. This is our current goal."
