In Çekmeköy, Istanbul, the driver of a private ambulance that hit a barrier and overturned was injured.

The private ambulance with license plate 34 EH 1441, which was traveling on the Şile Highway and had no patient inside, hit a barrier and overturned after its driver lost control of the steering wheel.

Upon notification, gendarmerie, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The driver, who was extracted from the vehicle by fire crews, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The traffic congestion caused by the accident returned to normal after the ambulance was removed.
