Fire in 14-Story Building in Esenyurt: 13 Rescued

A fire broke out on the 6th floor of a 14-story building on 1022 Street, Talatpaşa Neighborhood, in Esenyurt, Istanbul. The fire, which started for an as-yet-undetermined reason, was brought under control with the intervention of fire crews.

Upon the report of citizens who noticed dense smoke rising from the apartment, fire, police, and health teams were dispatched to the scene.

Fire crews, who arrived at the scene shortly, immediately intervened in the fire. 13 people trapped on the upper floors due to heavy smoke were safely evacuated using fire ladders.

After fire crews completed their extinguishing and cooling efforts, the street, which had been closed to traffic for safety reasons, was reopened to traffic.
