Vesa Vasara, the coach of Finnish side Inter Turku, who drew 1-1 with İstanbul Başakşehir in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League 2nd qualifying round, stated that they achieved a good result.

Vesa Vasara noted that they played a tough match. Vasara said, "We came here to get a result that would allow us to advance in Finland. I think we achieved that. We put in a strong performance against a very good team. It was a tough match. I hope we can put in an even stronger performance in the return leg at home and advance. We got a successful result. I think we have an advantage before the return leg, but we also have a strong opponent whom we respect. The tie is not over. I don't think it will be easy."
