Inter Turku Coach Vasara: We Expect a Good Result

Inter Turku Head Coach Vesa Vasara made statements before the match against İstanbul Başakşehir in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League 2nd qualifying round. Vasara stated that they would do their best to get a good result.

Speaking at the press conference at Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium, Vasara expressed that they were looking forward to tomorrow's match. Vasara said, "We will do our best. We are eagerly awaiting the match to finish with a good result."

Stating that İstanbul Başakşehir is a strong team, Vasara continued his words as follows:

"Although we don't have a big budget, we will do our best. Anything can happen in football. We probably don't have a better player than them. We are in the middle of our season. We seem to have an advantage. We have two matches. The second match will be on our home ground. We played a league match on Sunday. We might struggle a bit in this regard. This is our focus point. We might experience a problem with this. That's why we might lose the advantage. We don't have a big budget. We are aware of this. We can clearly say that Başakşehir is the favorite. We can get a good result. Of course, we have a plan. We can do anything."

When asked whether being in the middle of the season in the Finnish League would provide them with an advantage, Vasara gave the following answer:

"I hope it does. There was a match in the league. This is an advantage, but it can also be a disadvantage. We played a match on Sunday, they haven't played yet, so they are more rested. We are ready for tomorrow. We want to take everything we can from here."
