On Friday evening, June 5, art lovers filled the theatre hall of De Kriekelaar Cultural Centre in Brussels, experiencing an unforgettable night with the one-man musical comedy show "Anti-Regime ONE MAN Show."
Mehmet Avcu, who both directed and starred in the play, had the audience roaring with laughter with the various characters he portrayed on stage and his high-energy performance. In the interactive show, which drew attention for its structure, audience members occasionally became part of the play, joining in the fun by singing songs and participating in humorous dialogues.

<Mehmet Avcu: "We Grew Together in a Year"
After the show, Mehmet Avcu delivered an emotional thank-you speech on stage, stating that the year he spent in Brussels was a significant turning point for him.
Avcu thanked Binfikir Theatre, emphasizing that team spirit forms the foundation of success, and used the following expressions:
"It's been a year since I came to Brussels. During this period, I had the opportunity to perform on stage again. My last performance was in Istanbul in 2024. I was alone on stage, but in reality, we were a huge team. For a year, we did wonderful work with Binfikir Theatre. We learned a lot from each other and developed together. I hope this journey continues. I thank everyone who supported us and my family."
Erdinç Utku: "There is No Theatre Without an Audience"
Erdinç Utku, the play's writer and Binfikir Theatre's General Artistic Director, reiterated the words he speaks at the end of every show during the season finale:
"There is no theatre without an audience."
Utku congratulated Mehmet Avcu for his successful performance and the entire Binfikir Theatre team for their efforts throughout the season, thanking the audience for their support.
A Strong Address for Turkish Theatre in Belgium
Binfikir Theatre, which has been continuing its Turkish theatre activities in Belgium since 2008, continues to instill a love for theatre in new generations with its adult theatre group as well as Binfikir Children's Theatre, consisting of children aged 6-12.
