Karaca Couple Killed in Karabük Accident Laid to Rest

In Safranbolu district of Karabük, the couple who lost their lives in a car that collided with a truck were buried.

The bodies of Şevki and Şehri Karaca, who lost their lives yesterday in an accident near Danişment village on the Karabük-Bartın highway, were brought to Ovacuma village, which is part of the district.

After the funeral prayer performed at the Central Mosque during Friday prayer time, the bodies were laid to rest in the family cemetery in Afetevleri Neighborhood of Ovaköseler village.

The car with license plate 78 SP 266, driven by Şevki Karaca (71), collided yesterday near Danişment village on the Karabük-Bartın highway with a truck with license plate 37 ER 619, driven by M.K. Şevki and Şehri Karaca, along with their son Şevket Karaca (47), who were injured in the accident, were taken to hospitals in the city.

Among the injured, the car driver Şevki Karaca and his wife Şehri Karaca could not be saved despite all interventions.

Truck driver M.K. was detained.
