3 Brothers Murdered by PKK in Bingöl Commemorated at Graves

A commemoration program was held in Karlıova district of Bingöl for 3 brothers murdered by the terrorist organization PKK 34 years ago.

Brothers Hasan, Hüseyin, and Hamit Demir were murdered in an attack by the PKK terrorist organization on July 22, 1992, in Seyrana hamlet of Kıraçtepe village, affiliated with the district.

Maintenance and repair work was carried out at the graves of the 3 brothers by the Karlıova District Governorship.

In the program held to commemorate the brothers, Karlıova District Governor Abdulselam Bıçak, relatives of the Demir brothers, and institution directors visited the graves and recited prayers.

Fethi Demir, stating that the pain experienced has not been forgotten, noted the following:

"Three of my uncles were murdered by the terrorist organization PKK, and our houses were burned. Due to the pain experienced, we left our village and migrated. Years later, our relatives returned, and houses were rebuilt. Of course, we still feel that pain."
