İzmir Adnan Menderes and Milas-Bodrum airports, operated by TAV Airports, have been awarded "Accessibility Certificates" following inspections conducted under the coordination of the Ministry of Family and Social Services.

According to the statement, terminal buildings, open and common use areas were evaluated within the scope of the inspections. Physical accessibility, digital accessibility, communication, and transportation categories were examined. In this context, many elements such as ramps, tactile surfaces, accessible toilets, wayfinding systems, parking, digital interfaces, and passenger information applications were audited.

İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport had previously received certificates for its domestic and international terminals within the scope of the "Accessible Airport" project carried out by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The Accessibility Certificate certification process for İzmir Adnan Menderes and Milas-Bodrum airports will be completed by the relevant governorships.
