Thunderstorm Negatively Impacts Life in Kırklareli

A thunderstorm in Kırklareli negatively impacted life. Air temperatures, which were above seasonal norms, began to drop with the rainfall. After the rain, the temperature decreased from 33 degrees to 22 degrees Celsius.

The downpour led to puddles on streets and avenues. Citizens caught unprepared by the rain had to take shelter in building entrances.

Attendees of the Public Meeting event, which Kırklareli Mayor Derya Bulut was scheduled to host at Şehit Anıl Yalap Park in Atatürk Neighborhood, also moved indoors due to the rain.

Police teams took precautions in areas with heavy traffic and warned drivers to be careful.

The rainfall is expected to continue intermittently throughout the week.
