A truck and a car collided in a traffic accident that occurred in Kadirli district of Osmaniye. One person died and one person was injured in the accident.

On the Kadirli-Andırın highway, near Yenigün village, a car with license plate 80 AEC 623, driven by Volkan Küçükkılınç, collided with a truck with license plate 80 KB 607, driven by A.D.

As a result of the collision, the driver Volkan Küçükkılınç and A.T., who was with him in the car, were injured. Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.

The injured, who were trapped in the vehicle, were extricated by the teams and taken to a private hospital. Among the injured, police officer Volkan Küçükkılınç lost his life despite all interventions by doctors. It was learned that Küçükkılınç was on duty at the Kadirli District Police Department.

Truck driver A.D. was taken to the gendarmerie station to have his statement taken.
