In Düzce's Yığılca district, one person was seriously injured in an armed fight. The injured person was taken to the hospital.

It was alleged that a fight broke out between E.K. and N.K. in a field in Kocaoğlu village due to a land dispute. It was stated that as the incident escalated, E.K. shot and injured N.K. with a weapon.

Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

Following the initial intervention by health officials, N.K. was taken to Düzce University Faculty of Medicine Training, Research, and Practice Hospital. It was learned that N.K.'s health condition remains serious.

Gendarmerie teams launched a search operation to apprehend E.K., who fled the scene.
