A fire broke out in a moving truck in Mersin's Bozyazı district. Fire crews extinguished the blaze.

The incident occurred on the D-400 highway in Beyreli Neighborhood. The tire of the scrap-laden truck, driven by Ş.K., burst. Following the burst, a fire started in the truck.

When the driver noticed the fire, he pulled the truck to the side of the road. He immediately reported the situation to fire crews.

Crews dispatched to the area upon the report intervened in the fire. The fire was brought under control and extinguished. However, the truck was rendered unusable.

Due to the fire, traffic on the D-400 highway was controlled via a single lane for a while. Traffic returned to normal after the vehicle was removed from the road and the crews completed their work.
