Man Dies After Falling From Roof While Picking Mulberries in Uşak

57-year-old Ahmet Çalkan died in Uşak after falling from the roof of a two-story building he had climbed to pick mulberries.

In the incident that took place on Dördüncü Avcı Street in Mehmet Akif Ersoy Neighborhood, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene after a report that a person had fallen from the roof of a two-story building to the ground.

Health teams determined that Ahmet Çalkan, who fell from the roof, had lost his life.

Police investigation revealed that Çalkan had climbed onto the roof to pick mulberries from a tree in the building's backyard and fell from there to the ground.

Following investigations at the scene, Çalkan's lifeless body was taken to the Uşak Training and Research Hospital morgue.
